Yass Dam Raising

The Yass Dam raising was designed by our Chief Engineer Ziad Dekkak. The project involved the raising of the dam by 3750mm and the addition of pedestrian bridge on top. The concept was stabilising the 90 year old dam with the state of the art ground anchor technology.

Warragamba dam upgrade

Chief engineer Ziad Dakkak was involved in the remarkable Warragmba dam spillway upgrade. The project included structural design, hydraulic modelling and design and construction management. The photo describes Warragamba dam spillway modelling at Manly hydraulic lab.

Wayangala dam

Our engineers were commissioned to design the upgraded radial gates of the dam. This project presented various challenges in structural steel design 

M1 Road upgrade

This project was probably our most complex one to date. However, the end result of the Highway Junction made all of our hard work and research worthwhile. With a blend of modern aesthetics and best industry practices, we achieved great results within deadline and budget.

12-14 Ferguson ave, Wiley park

The scope of work included three storey concrete structure plus one timber level on the top. The building included one basement and lift shaft. The project was a twin building sharing one transfer slab. The client was not comfortable with post tension solutions, so we had to work with reinforcing the transfer slab. We proposed a innovative design of RC transfer slab without thickening the floor.

16 Carlton st Kogarah

A very unique project indeed! In this resident project we had to work with existing ground floor as the client did not want to entirely demolish the previous structure for planning purposes. As the building is based on the amazing Georges river bay, the soil underlying the foundation was incredibly weak and loose, which is not suitable for the new proposed work. We provided an innovative solution using screw pier underpinning to support the perimeter brick wall to enable them to support the superstructure. Moreover, the back of the building is cantilevered 3.5 meters and conventional beams were not an option. The client was very happy with our upturn cantilever beam solution as it was concealed within the walls.

35 Third ave Condell park

This prestiges structure includes two concrete suspended slabs and a basement. Part of the ground floor slab is resting on ground and therefore it was very crucial to deal with differential settlement.  We worked hand in hand with the architect and the owner builder to deliver this project. Design issues mitigates includes punching shear as the system was flat slab to allow for open areas and differential settlements.

83 Cann st Bass Hill

This amazing home in Bass Hill is a two storey concrete structure with basement. It included a 27 meter long swimming pool that merges into the home itself with spiral stairs winding over the pool. It featured a 4m long cantilevered bed room over the swimming pool. Our engineers worked hand in hand with the architects to deliver this project.

This project is an investment property yet it has all the modern and extra features any home owner would like to have. We worked closely with the architect Orhan Kaba from designniche. The resident includes an amazing raked ceiling at the back and plenty of light. The structure is based on a waffle pod slab foundation, while the first level is timber framed structure.

This project is an investment property yet it has all the modern and extra features any home owner would like to have. We worked closely with the architect Orhan Kaba from designniche. This duplex resident  structure is based on a waffle pod slab foundation, while the first level is timber framed floor supported on structural steel beams and load bearing walls.

4 Oleander ave The Hills

This spacious and modern resident is a courtesy of designniche architects. Our team had to make the footing work with the very steep ground nature of the site. We worked with the builder to design to his preference. The proposed design was a combination of deep edge beams and waffle pod slabs.

265 Hume Highway

Our team is involved in delivering the structural and Geotechnological design in this project. The work featured a 5m cantilevered on the first floor. We had to work with very tight height tolerances for the design of the slabs.
